CAVIA aims to support industrial Autonomous Vehicles (AVs), reducing repetitive and dangerous tasks and improving working conditions. It will develop integrated networking and computing solutions across the cloud-to-vehicle continuum. These solutions will enable efficient data collection, reliable low-latency communication, and seamless mobility support.

The project will jointly optimize service composition, deployment, and resource allocation, adapting to changes in operating conditions. Its key innovation is a unified approach combining network management and service orchestration with mobility built in.
